I am very pleased with the 80 / 40 Loaded Dipole-placed first in the state in the QRP ARCE Spring QSO Party using it as the primary antenna. Couldn't be happier in a "need to be low profile location." 73 / John, K4AT
Under the call of K3YTL. During the Pa QSO Party we had a ball using two of your fan antennas on 40 80 and 160 meters. Our multi op station worked over 2,400 contacts in the 22 hour contest. Thank you for such a great antenna Herb Krumich K2LNS K3YTL contest station
I used your 40 and 160 meter dual band Hy-Power Antenna and won the DLARC plaque as top SO score in the PA QSO party and I think I was 5th in the state !! Having 160 helped a lot and the 40 meter section performed as good as my old 40 meter dipole !! Bob, N3QQ
While using a prototype LD16170 in ARRL 160 Test a few years ago, I placed in the top 10 US QRP CW category - this is a great antenna - and a great value! W9UR
"I couldn't believe the success I had with the Hy-Power 20 meter loaded dipole. I hung it off a palm tree at about 20 feet. Using a 4 watts QRP rig, I was able to work the world" Rick, K3OO/HI7
I am very pleased with the 40 / 75 / 160 Model 3B4016L antenna. Using the antenna in last year's PA QSO party, I doubled my score. Every time I am on the air I get good signal reports. The antenna plays 100 % better than the Dipole antenna I had before putting up the antenna Model 3B4016L. Dick, KA3MOU
Hy-Power TRI1020 and TRIWARC (modified to add 6M) antennas were used for the dxpedition to J8 for the 2000 CQWW SSB contest. We made 8,200 qsos in the contest, and another 7,000 contacts in the five days prior to the contest. When we first arrived we alternately hung the TRIWARC and TRI1020 antennas about 10 feet off the ground (see below) in order to get on the air. Later, for the contest, the antennas were raised to 30 feet. As this was a completely portable operation we wanted antennas that were easy to install, reliable, and performed well. These antennas met all of those requirements. de J8/WA2VUY and J80WW.
This is the TRIWARC antenna modified. A six meter element was added.
This was a special order antenna that was installed at J80WW.
